A Mushroom's Journey is my current in-progress project! It's a 32 page children's book for early readers.
February the Fungi leads the newborn mushroom spores through the forest to discover their role in nature. Along the way they discover March, an adolescent mushroom who just can't get behind the idea - why do mushrooms have to bother these dead things, anyway? Together the group learns about natural cycles in the forest, honoring time and memories, and how nature needs all of its helpers to bloom.
Little Witch
Little Witch is a 48 page self-published mini book for early readers that explores themes of spirituality through nature, and occasionally the supernatural! In three short chapters, The Woods, The Stars and The Beyond, readers can engage with the different ways the world around them reflects magic.
