Christine Franzen is an award-winning illustrator and comic book colorist living in Brooklyn.

 

She recently contributed coloring work to IDW's Star Trek 60th Anniversary Special, and created a short story for Level Ground Comics' anthology, Roots.

 

Christine also creates content for theater, opera and musicals in the projection design world. She's contributed to over forty productions in collaboration with projection design teams for on and off-Broadway, such as Network, Superhero, The Egyptian Helen, and Monte Cristo.

 

Christine further developed her expertise in illustrative storytelling by earning her MFA at the Savannah College of Art and Design in the Sequential Art department. She aspires to find new and exciting applications for her work in comics, children's books, and more.​
